Stuart is a member of the Leathersellers' Company and a Foundation Trustee – he was previously a Foundation Governor of the Federation, chairing its people and Finance Committee. He grew up in nearby Croydon and went on to study at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He has worked in finance and asset management in London and New York for the past 20 years, focusing on lending money to companies. He has previously served as a Governor of Colfe's School and is passionate about education and giving the best opportunities to each child to fulfil their own talents. Stuart has 3 children at primary and secondary school.
