Richard is a member of the Leathersellers’ Company and a Foundation Trustee.  He grew up in Dorset and went on to study Engineering and then Management Studies at Peterhouse, Cambridge.  He has worked in clean energy and telecommunications for over 20 years, most recently as CFO of Ceres Power, a leading developer of clean energy technology and listed company.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Corporate Treasurer.  He currently lives in Kent with his wife, but no longer with his three daughters who are all at university.  He enjoys running, hillwalking, indoor hockey and pottery.
